Job Description
- Carry out detailed mechanical design work including 3D modelling, preparation of 2D drawing for manufacturing, simulation, design verification testing as required.
- Design & develop technical solutions for new elevator products (Mechanical components/subsystems including systems integration aspects)
- According defined technical requirements (form, fit and function etc.)
- Work in aspects of cost optimized manufacturing
- According defined quality, time and budget
- KA release on time and with Quality
- Work closely with EPM, System and testing teams
Example of Key Responsibility
- Product Design
- Specification, Compliance to codes of Design
- Prepare materials for Design review, VAVE Activities leadership
- Design change requests, ENG CR’s update
- Prepare technical solutions, KA, Documentation
- Develop efficiency improvement
- Work with global NoEs, Testing and EPL teams
- Keep the tasks within MMS, budget
- Follow corporate guidelines, ON’s, SOP’s, WI’s
- Check with suppliers for new opportunities
